As a writer sometimes you're lucky enough to work with an amazing editor. Such is the case for me with the upcoming anthology, For the Love of a Soldier. I submitted a short story to editor, Kristina Wright, about three years ago and while it's taken a while for the antho to see the light of day, it's almost here and I couldn't be more pleased.

My story, Lucky Charm, as well as fifteen other amazingly HOT military romance stories have been combined into one kick-ass anthology and it releases June 29, 2017. So let me tell you a little about Lucky Charm, yeah?

For the Love of a Soldier, releasing June 29, 2017

Master Chief Finley Redden has been in some of the worst hellholes Afghanistan has to offer. And by his side, faithfully watching and protecting he and his men, is his lucky Charm. He's determined to repay her for her steadfast loyalty and to do that, he's called in an organization that will make sure his Charm gets home safe and sound.
Emmy Vandiver's organization, Homeward Bound, helps service dogs go from war theaters to happily-ever-after. When Master Chief Redden contacts her, tells her Charm's story, Emmy signs on to make sure Charm gets home safe and sound.
But neither are prepared for the heat that flares between them, and while Charm holds both their hearts in palm of her, well, paw, Finley and Emmy are about to realize the abandoned dog from Afghanistan has more in store for them than either thought possible.

Sixteen stories of passion with soldiers, sailors, pilots, and men (and women) of war. When you love someone in the military, erotic opportunities can few or far between. These authors, veterans of the erotica and romance writing world, turn their pens to the subject with insightful and sizzling portrayals of those in (and out of...) uniform.

Edited by award-winning author Kristina Wright, who is married to a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy, For the Love of a Soldier is filled with sexy, romantic stories by some of the top authors in the erotic romance genre. Cat Johnson, Victoria Janssen, Lucy Felthouse, Sidney Bristol, and 12 other talented writers reflect on the lives, loves, and sacrifices of men and women in uniform and answer the provocative question: What would you do for the love of a soldier?

As editor Kristina Wright writes in her introduction, "When I married my sailor many years ago...the message was clear: duty to military service comes before duty to marriage. Moments. Hours. Days. Occasionally, weeks... That’s how romances with military lovers are measured—in the smallest of increments, because no time together is ever guaranteed." The result is red-hot reunions and no-holds-barred passion in the precious time that is shared.

Praise for Duty and Desire:

"Wright, herself a Navy wife, assembles 18 red-hot tales of men and women in uniform that range from WWII-era Russia to modern-day Afghanistan. While celebrating the valor, not to mention hotness, of those who serve their country, this anthology commendably covers darker issues, including post-traumatic stress syndrome and serious injuries, and love of all kinds, both straight and gay . . . This touching and realistic lineup is highly recommended." — Publishers Weekly
